Classes, classes and more classes!
Classes, workshops and sit-and-knits are all scheduled all year long at The Violet Unicorn! Come and join me to learn to weave, knit, crochet, needle felt, wet felt or paint, or join in a class to enhance the skills you already have! Over the winter months there will be an expanded schedule of fun sessions. Needle felting, wet felting and Tunisian crochet are just a few of the new classes added, so check back often.
The shop has a wide range of hand-dyed yarns from across Canada as well as a nice selection of sock yarns and fun yarns from elsewhere! From handspun baby bison to the yarns of Master Dyer, Rhichard Devrieze, you will find something interesting for your next project.
There is also ​a vast array of accessories for knitting, crocheting and weaving. Need some inspiration? Buy a kit and have everything you need to start the project right in front of you. Project bags to keep everything in are also available in fun fabrics too!
